Happy New Year Poem 2019 : Famous New Year's Poems

What can be said in New Year rhymes,
That’s not been said a thousand times?
The new years come, the old years go,
We know we dream, we dream we know.
We rise up laughing with the light,
We lie down weeping with the night.
We hug the world until it stings,
We curse it then and sigh for wings.
We live, we love, we woo, we wed,
We wreathe our prides, we sheet our dead.
We laugh, we weep, we hope, we fear,
And that’s the burden of a year.
Ηappy, Happy Νew Year! WΕ wish you Αll the Βest,
Great wοrk to reach yοur fondest goals,
Αnd when you are done, sweet rest.
WΕ hope for yοur fulfillment, Cοntentment, peace Αnd more,
Α brighter, Βetter new year Τhan You have ever had Βefore.
Happy Νew Year!
My New Year Solutions, Not Resolutions
This year I want to be a monkey
Jumping from tree to tree
Next year I can be a donkey
Braying from sky to sea.
Every year I want to change
And experience something new
I wish I am something strange
Like the disappearing dew.
I want to feel the life of a lion king
Sitting inside its majestic skin
Turning into a peacock I will sing
And be a cuckoopea Siamese twin
Why can’t I be a bubble?
Blow away and disappear
Instead of getting into trouble
Making resolutions every year.
Αnother year so good Αnother year is cοming to a Εnd,
Ηave you planned ωhere will yοu spend?
Τhis night is gοing to be Αwesome Βecause it will be the last day of the Υear Sο,
fοrget everything and dο cheer Βecause this year Ιs going,
Wait fοr another Βright start Where yοu would welcome Ιt from your Ηeart! Happy Νew Year!
The rain this morning falls
on the last of the snow

and will wash it away. I can smell
the grass again, and the torn leaves

being eased down into the mud.
The few loves I’ve been allowed

to keep are still sleeping
on the West Coast. Here in Virginia

I walk across the fields with only
a few young cows for company.

Big-boned and shy,
they are like girls I remember

from junior high, who never
spoke, who kept their heads

lowered and their arms crossed against
their new breasts. Those girls

are nearly forty now. Like me,
they must sometimes stand

at a window late at night, looking out
on a silent backyard, at one

rusting lawn chair and the sheer walls
of other people’s houses.

They must lie down some afternoons
and cry hard for whoever used

to make them happiest,
and wonder how their lives

have carried them
this far without ever once

explaining anything. I don’t know
why I’m walking out here

with my coat darkening
and my boots sinking in, coming up

with a mild sucking sound
I like to hear. I don’t care

where those girls are now.
Whatever they’ve made of it

they can have. Today I want
to resolve nothing.

I only want to walk
a little longer in the cold

blessing of the rain,
and lift my face to it.
It's a new year
Let's give a cheer
Send New Year PoemsPour us some wine
And maybe some beer

Get all your friends
Party till the day ends
Then the ball will drop
And the balloons will pop

It will be 2018
Give me a high five
Another year passes
Through life's glasses
Happy New Year!
Wishing all my lovely friends a happiest New Year
I can’t wait to begin yet another yet full of adventures, fun and laughter
Let us all come together as we dance into the New Year
Wishing all my family members a happiest New Year
Goodbye 2018, and welcome 2019,
Let us bid adieu
Here’s to hoping for the best 365 days ahead
And all the best to you!
Many of us are dreamers, in 2019 become doers.
Make your thoughts actions and become pursuers.
Don't make resolutions without an action plan.
The secret to success is right in your hands.

Thomas Edison discovered more than 1000 ways, to not invent a bulb of light,
But eventually, through perspiration, he found the solution to get it just right.
If he had stopped at nine hundred ninety-nine,
You'd be reading in the dark, and might miss a line.

Take the first step, do something outrageous,
The act of doing, will become quite contagious.
Accomplishments will come closer each day,
Don't just wish, but act and pray!

Don't let pride ever cause you to stumble,
Baby steps are still progress and keep us humble.
It's better to move slowly then to turn or hide,
Keep your eyes focused, let God be your guide.

At the end of the year, you'll discover you've been moving,
Much closer to the goals, you have always been pursuing.
It won't all happen on January one,
But with faith, hope, and action, you will get the job done.
May each day bring thee something
Fair to hold in memory--
Some true light to shine
Upon thee in the after days.
May each night bring thee peace,
As when the dove broods o'er
The young she loves; may day
And night the circle of
A rich experience weave
About thy life, and make
It rich with knowledge, but radiant
With Love, whose blossoms shall be
Tender deeds.
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne?

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.

And surely ye'll be your pint-stowp,
And surely I'll be mine!
And we'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.

We twa hae run about the braes,
And pu'd the gowans fine;
But we've wandered mony a weary fit
Sin' auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.

We twa hae paidled i' the burn,
Frae morning sun till dine;
But seas between us braid hae roared
Sin' auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.

And there's a hand, my trusty fiere,
And gie's a hand o' thine!
And we'll tak a right guid-willie waught

For auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.
Dad’s on a ladder.
Out hanging up lights.
Mom’s baking cookies,
And we’re having fights.
Grandma is wrapping.
Our gifts by the tree.
We keep on fighting,
My brother and me.
In two days, it’s Christmas.
All over our town.
But we won’t stop fighting.
Till Santa comes down.
Happy New Year!
To leave the old with a burst of song;
To recall the right and forgive the wrong;
To forget the things that bind you fast
To the vain regrets of the year that’s past;
To have the strength to let go your hold
Of the not worthwhile of the days grown old;
To dare go forth with a purpose true,
To the unknown task of the year that’s new;
To help your brother along the road,
To do his work and lift his load;
To add your gift to the world’s good cheer,
Is to have and to give a Happy New Year.
Happy New Year!!
If it didn’t bring you joy
just leave it behind
Let’s ring in the new year
with good things in mind
Let every bad memory
that brought heartache and pain
And let’s turn a new leaf
with the smell of new rain
Let’s forget past mistakes
making amends for this year
Sending you these greetings
to bring you hope and cheer
Happy New Year!!
Happy New Year to you and your family too
May you celebrate the day and look forward to the new
May you see a year full of happiness and health
May your pockets be full and you will have your share of wealth.

Each year brings challenges that is for sure
Persist and persevere and you will endure.
For success will be found for the one who does that
At the end of the year you will deserve a good pat.

Take the time to enjoy those near to you
And always stay positive never be blue.
The important things in life are never things
It is the relationships we have and the love they bring.

Always be thankful for the blessings you have
And that includes being thankful for your Mom and Dad.
Be sure to thank God each and every day
For with God in your life you will not go astray.

Let your attitude be positive and bright
And always walk away from those who want to fight.
For life is too short for anger and jealousy
Instead live your life with zealously.

Life each day and take the time to see
How wonderful the simple things of life can be.
And always make sure you have balance in your work and play
By doing that you will enjoy 365 days.

By following these suggestion you will be glad
As a very happy new year you will have!
A good New Year, with many blessings in it!"
Once more go forth the kindly wish and word.
A good New Year! and may we all begin it
With hearts by noble thought and purpose stirred.

The Old Year's over, with its joy and sadness;
The path before us is untried and dim;
But let us take it with the step of gladness,
For God is there, and we can trust in Him.

What of the buried hopes that lie behind us!
Their graves may yet grow flowers, so let them rest.
To-day is ours, and it must find us
Prepared to hope afresh and do our best.

God knows what finite wisdom only guesses;
Not here from our dim eyes the mist will roll.
What we call failures, He may deem successes
Who sees in broken parts the perfect whole.

And if we miss some dear familiar faces,
Passed on before us to the Home above,
Even while we count, through tears, their vacant places,
He heals our sorrows with His balm of Love.

No human lot is free from cares and crosses,
Each passing year will bring both shine and shower;
Yet, though on troubled seas life's vessel tosses,
The storms of earth endure but for an hour.

And should the river of our happy laughter
Flow 'neath a sky no cloud yet overcasts,
We will not fear the shadows coming after,
But make the most of sunshine while it lasts.

A good New Year! Oh, let us all begin it
With cheerful faces turning to the light!
A good New Year, which will have blessings in it
If we but persevere and do aright.
The Old Year's gone away
To nothingness and night:
We cannot find him all the day
Nor hear him in the night:
He left no footstep, mark or place
In either shade or sun:
The last year he'd a neighbour's face,
In this he's known by none.

All nothing everywhere:
Mists we on mornings see
Have more of substance when they're here
And more of form than he.
He was a friend by every fire,
In every cot and hall--
A guest to every heart's desire,
And now he's nought at all.

Old papers thrown away,
Old garments cast aside,
The talk of yesterday,
Are things identified;
But time once torn away
No voices can recall:
The eve of New Year's Day
Left the Old Year lost to all.
I see you Αs a beautiful wοmen of Kindness Αnd love,
With Α big heart fοr others that yοur always thinking οf.
I lοve how you smile Ιt makes your Εyes shine and Τwinkle,
Or yοur laugh when Ιts funny if Ιts not just Α wrinkle.
I lοve your way οf hugging and hοlding me close,
Οr staring at the Μy face and smiling, lοving me most.
Yοu mean more tο me than Αnything in life,
I Αm happy the Lοrd did make yοu my wife.
Ι Have looked fοr your love Ιn all the wrong Ρlace,
Bυt I find Ιt in your Εyes when I lοok at yοur face.
I lοve to remember oυr days in Α Mexican paradise,
I Νever took you fοr granted and yοu always looked Νice.
My Ηeart sings songs οf happiness when Ι am in yοur heart,
Αnd cries out fοr your love ωhen we are Αpart.
I jυst need you tο know that Ι always am Ηere,
Ι will never leave yοur heart nor create Αny fear.
Yοu gave me yοur heart and Ι gave you Μine,
Ι hope that yοu love me Τill the end οf time.
Ι want to die Ιn your arms Ιn a cabin Βy the woods
Ιf I had οne wish, Ι wishes that Ι could.
Happy New Year My Dear !
I leant upon a coppice gate
When Frost was spectre-gray,
And Winter's dregs made desolate
The weakening eye of day.
The tangled bine-stems scored the sky
Like strings of broken lyres,
And all mankind that haunted nigh
Had sought their household fires.

The land's sharp features seemed to be
The Century's corpse outleant,
His crypt the cloudy canopy,
The wind his death-lament.
The ancient pulse of germ and birth
Was shrunken hard and dry,
And every spirit upon earth
Seemed fervourless as I.

At once a voice arose among
The bleak twigs overhead
In a full-hearted evensong
Of joy illimited;
An aged thrush, frail, gaunt, and small,
In blast-beruffled plume,
Had chosen thus to fling his soul
Upon the growing gloom.

So little cause for carolings
Of such ecstatic sound
Was written on terrestrial things
Afar or nigh around,
That I could think there trembled through
His happy good-night air
Some blessed Hope, whereof he knew
And I was unaware.
